A Toast to Remember
ZT Wealth and Altus Healthcare Management Services hosted its 10th Annual Toast to Living Well black-tie event, where some of Houston’s elite gathered for high-rolling fun at the casino-themed bash. More than 1200 guests attended the event on Saturday, December 3rd at the Hilton Americas and enjoyed a succulent dinner, dancing, silent auction and casino games. And for the fourth year in a row, Alex Rodriguez was thrilled to be the VIP sponsor.
The event was also a "celebration for a cause" and raised over $60,000 for The Rose, a local nonprofit, whose mission is to reduce deaths from breast cancer by providing screening, diagnostics and access to treatment and support to all women regardless of their ability to pay.
Other evening highlights included a book signing by Houston socialite Joanne King Herring, author of Diplomacy and Diamonds, as well as the Altus Foundation’s announcement of their newly established foundation created to serve citizens in need of health services at Altus Healthcare facilities.
Celebrities in attendance included Houston Rocket Jordan Hill, NFL Players Chester Pitts and Travis Johnson, Gordon Quan, Dr. Raza Pasha, and Dorothy Gibbons, CEO and Co-Founder of The Rose. Guests were greeted by the Houston Texans Cheerleaders, who served as hostesses for the evening.
“The Rose was treated to an incredible night. Thanks to Taseer Badar and his staff for being such fantastic hosts,” said Gibbons following the event. “We are overwhelmed with the generosity and graciousness we received. I especially appreciated Dr. Forough Farizani, Dr. Hamid Razavi and Hillcroft Physicians for their surprise! I'm looking forward to all that's in store for Taseer, Altus HMS, the foundation, and ZT Wealth!"
