Summer Concert Fun

Summer's here, and with that comes one of Galveston's most anticipated events, the Island Star Live 2010 Concert Series at the stunning Moody Gardens Outdoor Amphitheater.

In conjunction with Island Star Performances, Inc, the eight-week event features some of the best local and regional bands on the Gulf Coast, as well as an exciting array of special events throughout the year. 

The concert series kicked off on May 29th with internationally acclaimed all-female band, The Bangles, introduced by the rock sounds of Tonic.

For a truly patriotic experience, the series continued on Saturday,
July 3rd with a dynamic live performance by  American Idol winner Kris Allen at the KRBE Island Jam and Fireworks show. The night's rip-roaring entertainment also featured the upbeat sounds of Sister Hazel and the 71's.

September 3-6 | BrewMasters International Beer Festival

This four-day extravaganza features daily outdoor concerts and beer gardens, Brew HaHa Tastings and BrewLicious food & beer pairings. Concert headliners include hard-rock icons Great White and Night Ranger. Click here for complete event information or to purchase tickets.
